Hi everyone,

I've been using a jm2 for about nearly 10 years now and today I noticed that the pickup blending pot had become a little loose so I opened her up to tighten it. This is where I discovered that the thread on the pot had become worn and so the nut isn't holding it in tight so I decided to replace it and this where I ran into a problem: I can't find an obvious replacement online and I'm not sure what I'm looking for in an indirect replacement.

Does anyone know what i could use as a replacment and where I could get one? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hopefully there are some letters/numbers on the pot body and/or wafer board near the terminals to determine type and value of the pot. They may not be visible w/o turning the pot around, tho. The pot body diameter is important, also.
Are the pickups themselves passive or active? I've seen some Yamaha advertisements saying "active pickups" when only the preamp was active/powered and connected to passive pickups.
Seems Yamaha wants a login to get any info about wiring or manuals, but you may be able to get something there if no one chimes in here soon.
