Peavey T-40, T-45
+1!!!! Peavey REALLY needs to acknowledge the historical significance of their having built the first CNC-machined guitar and bass bodies in the industry with a "Heritage Edition" of both the T40 bass and the T60 guitar.
I believe that Peavey has many fans and players of their contemporary instruments and that there would be a market for a modern "Heritage" model. It shouldn't be difficult to make one with a natural ash body, modern bridge and humbuckers and still be able to cut the weight down from the original early designs.
Since their current line is produced overseas, they should be able to make these models affordable, hence be able to recoup the investment, and still be able to introduce a new generation of players to the models that gave them their first entry into the bass/guitar market.
But that's me. Anyone else?
