Except it wasn't active/passive pickups. It had passive pickups feeding an active preamp. Most active basses are passive PUPs with active presmps following them.
If they do reissue this, it won't have weigh 25 pounds, does it?

The Alembic Spoiler. It is my favorite body style of theirs and I would likely be tempted to get another one.
Also, I would like Fender to bring back some of their custom colors like Metallic Purple, Sonic Blue, Coral Pink, Sherwood Green, and Surf Green. They had the Seafoam Green GC special edition recently but that should be generally available also.

Mine was 11 pounds and the main reason I sold it, but wow did it sound great!
Yes, yes, yes! I hope that Gibson does make the full composite basses again with the original Steinberger blend, only this time put a truss rod in the neck and do not build the neck relief in the fingerboard. would be nice to be able to get these basses to play with low action for us lazy bass players. Like you can with Status basses.
I'd like to see an Ampeg Scroll Bass done PROPERLY.

I would love to see the Status Buzzards back again, HPW should never have taken that from them imho (and start offering Alembic, gibson and Wechter knockoffs after that) :scowl:

I wish Fender would make a legit new Musicmaster. I wouldn't care if it was one of their non-MiA Fender offerings, i just want a legit Fender Musicmaster, modeled after the Squier Vista Musicmaster.
