Well you see a pattern there...for 1 &2, But that is just my observations.
So I personally would be looking into another band situation that may be more to the level of what you want.
Hey you can stay with these guys till you find a better situation. (maybe)

Hey, you know I’m just goofing around…I really do have a fairly thick skin.
And as a card carrying boomer, I sure know we have a few quirks which may irritate some, but I’m also convinced that whatever “Age” group are you are linked too and their associated quirks can be irritating as well.
Are they still calling out sick, or are you the one that has to call them to find out where they are?

Does the band gig? If thr band does do gigs, do they go well? Do you get paid?
If you gig and it's a net positive, then you're in the clear.
If this isn't a working band and you don't gig (or gig extremely infrequently), then weekly rehearsals might be a waste of time and your bandmates might be getting wise to that.
Any one of them seems perfectly reasonable. The question is what you think of the pattern.
In 2005 my singer/guitarist/cousin decided to hitch hike across Canada.
Me and the other guitarist had just graduated from high school, we were looking forward to having a summer of rock right before we left for college.
I forgot it even happened, until about 2 am last night.
We were late getting the ability to drive, we were late getting invited to house parties, and we never partied or drank until a month before we graduated.
We were set up for wild times, and nah he wanted to have "edgy" stories about being an effeminate 16 year old getting picked up by creeps.
I had the summer of my life partying, but holy flop is it hard not to be mad.
Me and the other guitarist had just graduated from high school, we were looking forward to having a summer of rock right before we left for college.

If it's a casual/originals band who cares, there are always a million bands looking for bass players just join another one closer in line with the time commitment you're looking for. If it's a working band make sure you have subs ready to go for gigs and have at it. A good working band won't need that many rehearsals together anyway. Crying about adults needing to miss rehearsals is childish man.
Take member #3 and form another band with them.
In my recent case it was easier. We were a 7-8 piece turned 5 piece after the pandemic (sax and trumpet player got busy with other projects in the meantime, and trumpet left the country in teh end). Of the remaining 5, #1 was *always* the unreliable one. We decided to call it a day and cancel the remaining gigs, and start a new band with the "reliable 4".
exactly, it's not so much whether someone needs to cancel rehearsal for whatever reason... the problem is when it's frequent, then it's a problem and it'll probably indicates that person is not that invested.
Some people seem unable to judge their ability to commit to various activities and they just make a mess of things unable to realise the problem and stand down from the least interesting ones (to them), relying on others to make that decision for them...
So I did a quick check, based on our band whatsapp messages...

10 nov. 1st rehearsal.
17 nov. canx (Me. possible covid)
24 nov.
30 nov.
17 dec. canx (Singer + Drummer. covid)

9 feb. canx (Singer covid, Me shoulder)

Now, we're strictly a hobby band (obviously!) with no gigs lined up as yet, but seeing it written down, I can't help but feel we're not trying hard enough. Hopefully, with covid off the table and my shoulder injury cleared up(for now), things will improve.

I worked with somebody who banged out constantly. Every excuse was different, and sounded legit. Well maybe not the “a window fell on my hand” one. but taken together, nobody could have that many bad things happen that often.
For me it’s not about what individual reasons are acceptable, it’s more about frequency.

#2 missed 4x - work; throat scoped; wife & him sick; cancer
#1 missed 5x - storms; weather again/door jamb; ribs sore; ribs again; holiday prep
Here's a different look at it. #4 & 3 get a pass/consideration due to dentist; throat scope & cancer all should have been appointments known ahead of time. And their other excuses are pretty legit.
#1 excuses don't pass the smell test.

A dentist appointment? Like during the time you’d be rehearsing? Or just at some point during the day?

Yeah, uh, he isn’t the only guitarist/singer in the world. You should have found another band if you wanted to rock.
