That is so positive!! You are a lucky man.. Those Pacificas are some of the finest preamps on earth! Good story...

Most folks who never DI'd a B-15 using the speaker out don't, but when they do, they get the comparison. To me it sounds like a B-15 speaker DI'd and running clean with a near-flat EQ, and I have the B-15 to compare it ;) I'm interested to hear the Black REDDI, but I must say I'm not the least bit unhappy with the Red REDDI.

Peter is a great man, and I will buy any A-Designs product that will satisfy a need. I was about to pull the trigger on a PreSonus Tube Channel, but am now going to save for a Ventura...

Fan for life!

Great choice!
The Ventura is a top of the top of the heap, pro audio channel.. But you know that... It is a piece that we keep forever. It is PRO Audio vs Consumer audio.. Nothing wrong with consumer audio gear.. There is great stuff.. But the pro audio is in a class all its own.. The Ventura is in the same class as Neve, API, SSL... Just incredible ...

Don't rule out the Pacifica
My personal favorite...That with a REDDI is just all kinds of delicious.
