I hear you, Jeff. I'm very much a REDDI fan to this day and I love Peter.
And in defense of the PF50 I've had a couple of soundmen at live gigs be extremely impressed with what I was sending to FOH....and that was EQ'd 100% for my cab on stage. These are guys used to me showing up with the REDDI too.

Here's the link to the PF50-T vs REDDI files. It's a Reaper project file but I think it includes the raw audio for your own daw comparison as well. I'm on my phone and can't quite dissect it at the moment.

I've got both the REDDI and a P-15. I'm hosting a GTG on the 13th and another TB member that we all hope can make it owns a Noble. I hope he does because I'd love to directly compare the three.

Oh c'mon. You can discuss this in two places. It's totally NOT off topic here. Unless you were looking for specific info on those two units you might not be even aware of that other thread.
Anyone have the opportunity to directly compare the RNDI/Neve to the REDDI?
I own both but haven't had the opportunity to do a side by side comparison. 99.9 percent of my application is live and there's not very often the time (or the will) to mess around with the bass sound to that degree. I will say though that like the PF50 one soundman who's used to me bringing the REDDI was very impressed with the RNDI. I did ask him how he thought it compared to the REDDI and he said he'd need to have them side by side to really judge. Unfortunately I don't think I'm back there til October......
I was able to do a side by side Reddi and Jule Monique. Feature set aside I thought they were very comparable. If it was just a mater of a straight DI I would have been hard pressed to choose between the two.
I think if all you want or need is a DI the REddi is hard to beat. If you love that tone and want it to be part of your stage rig and have some tone shaping options the Monique was an easy choice for me.
All great pieces of gear, I was on the list for a P15 but backed out after falling in love with Monique.

Was looking forward to hearing these clips, then I noticed that he's always got something else running with them, eiher a comp or a different preamp of some sort. Not very useful for comparison purposes so I didn't bother.

I've gotten into this a few times.. Ive banned and blocked some people as to avoid future conflict. The reason is because it becomes a "my box is better than your box crap.. This IS NOT THAT THREAD..
You Can start your own thread if you want.. In fact , I may have been the one to start this thread many years ago on the old platform before it went thru version after version , so i think i should have some say in the TOPIC. ..
There are a few DI box makers that put their "shills" ( I can name 2 but i wont) into a thread in order to push their competing peice of gear up in name popularity by piggy backing off the REDDI thread. .. If it is allowed here then it should be allowed everywhere equally. Which it is not ..
That is why this is called the"REDDI Tube DI Mega-thread"thread and they are called "XYZ box vs the REDDI. It needs to be focused around that topic..
Before you know it this thread would get watered down into x. y z products vs the ABC thread and become a total OFF TOPIC free for all...

Powers has lost it. Nobody is putting their "shills" into any threads to push $#|+. It was stated way back "many" years ago (5 if that's what you call many) if you own one or have comments about the REDDI this was the place to do it. I own one, no I did not pay that ridiculous new price for one, yes it is better than a whirlwind, is there better DI's made today for cheaper prices with better customer service. Yes.
