Resurrection Thread- Anyone own only ONE bass?

Covid notwithstanding, this is really only an option for folks who don’t play music for a living/as a significant part of their annual income. If I only had one bass and it crapped out on me, I’m not making rent or missing a car payment or something. Having more than one bass is basically insurance for me and folks who live a similar lifestyle.
For some years after my hearing ended my gigging career I did - my old L2000 with unlined #8 "bi-cut" neck on it was the only bass I had (R.I.P. in late 2019).
Meanwhile, this is related to the "if you could have only one bass,...." thread, so that's sure to come up again here. So I'll preemptively respond: if I could have one and only one, it would ultimately have to be my sunburst Tony Franklin. My LPB one has a defective neck on it, so the sunburst one is the most likely to survive the rest of my life.
It's also the most well-behaved bass I have, electronically. My L2000 is fretted so I'd be more likely to sound better on a gig with it, but it's a thermonuclear weapon electronically. It would be more of a wrestling match to get the right tone in the broadest range of musical circumstances. The Jaco is lined, so it would be easier to intonate, but the TF is a P bass with a Jazz PU at the bridge. You can make a P bass with a Jazz PU at the bridge fit into practically anything you could ever need to do, musically or tonally.
And since I could only gig in either recording sessions far away in another whole room from that horrible crashing/bashing drummer, or live gigs at acoustic volume levels (piano, sax, horns, acoustic guitar, etc), my destroyed hearing would permit me to play the TF in tune in those situations.

That's 2 in 4 hours - if by 230 PST this goes to 20, I will need to buy @FishDub lunch. The guy before you is window shopping non-stop, so not sure if that counts. It's like I am monogamous but I check other people out. But you are hanging out here in what is essentially analogous to a harem owners site.

I have 2 at the moment, a 1983 Kramer Pioneer and a Carlo Robelli "Joe Dart" OG model. Either one could be my one and only but I enjoy them both so for the moment both stay. When I was in my heaviest gigging years, the only bass I owned was a Squier Classic Vibe P in sonic blue. It did everything I ever needed and more.

I’m a hobbyist and serial monogamist. My current bass is a Supro Huntington I. Love it and not looking to replace it anytime soon.
Prior to that I had a brief fling with a Hofner Club (Ignition series) and before that a long and somewhat tedious relationship with an Ibanez AGB140. My high school sweetheart was a Squier Jazz.
There was an EB-0 copy along the way also, but I don’t like to talk about it.

I am down to one bass, Kiesel Orius, headless 5-string. I gig twice a month and the band practices once a week. It serves me well
Had an arsenal. Now I’m down to 1. Still would like at least 5 but I enjoy having a savings and a roof over my head. I’ll wait till I reach boomer age to have more than 5

Unless I can argue that I only have one of each kind of bass (upright, fretless, fretted, tenor). But that's cheating.
What tuning do you use for the tenor, and what is the scale?

My modified squier is all I need now.
But yes, it is a harem owners site for most part.
