Return of Sunn?

Serious question: How many people would buy a bone-stock 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air from their local dealership if it was made available direct from the US-factory with a warranty, and how much would they have to pay for one?

I understand that safety standards prevent that from happening with an automobile, but it’s a thought exercise that Sunn seems to be making real in the case of the 200S. I think many of us are anxious to see the chassis. It will be interesting to see “what’s under the hood”.

Looks like that's for a head and cab. The specs at the end state a 2/15 cab (w/JBL or CTS speakers) also says weight is 150lbs (head and cab)
I suppose one might infer that, but the cab alone sells for $2,225.00, so that would leave only $1274.00 for the head if $3499.00 is the combined price for both. I kinda doubt that is the case. Looks to me like $5724.00 is the combined price for the head and cab.

Edit: And... the 100S is also listed as selling for $3499 and there's no mention of a cab on that page.

Edited to fix a math error.

Not making excuses, but in the grand scheme of things, that's really not to bad. My problem would be 60 watts. 🙄
Which JBL drivers are being offered in the cabinets?

In the FAQ on the "Sunn" website:

Sunn used speaker drivers from various different manufacturers at different times including JBL, Eminence, Jensen and CTS. At one point there was even a Sunn speaker factory, and they were manufactured in house. The new Sunn speaker cabinets use Sunn speakers designed and built to our specifications by Eminence and Jensen. The specifications for each are listed on the product pages. The Eminence made Sunn speakers are manufactured in the USA. The Jensen made Sunn speakers are manufactured in Italy.

To that, I'll add that the product page for the 215 cab lists the drivers as being 2 x Sunn 15S200 and as having cast frames, ferrite magnets, and aluminum dust caps. It also lists the total power handling as 200 watts, or 100 watts per driver. Quite a deal for $2225.

The Eminence drivers look decent, remembering that one post where little buddy bought one of the raw drivers for way to much (IMO) and put it in a random cab.

Ok, my confusion is that they specifically stated that the JBL driver was an option, when JBL no longer makes a suitable bass driver... as they got out of that market decades ago.
