What about under the bonnet ?
Unfortunately nothing concrete. Said they would regularly update me, but there's a lot of orders in front of me they have to get through.
This thread has me thinkin that I made a good decision to hang on to my 80's Beta Bass combo!

Way cool! I’ve owned and used Sunn gear back in their heyday. The 2000s head was a tone monster.
I wish someone would resurrect Eden, especially the WT heads.
Same look as the classic Beta Bass. I didn't open her up, I have no clue about electronics, hahah. But I did get the first one. Serial number 001

Have they released anything (production units) that was “big things coming” from last year yet?

Dhuuu yeah, another Big Things Coming ad, just like last year.
I would not hold my breath waiting on the Model T since it has been a big production for them to come out with another "Big Thing Coming" announcement.
All the gear so far seems to be just as old fashion as the original units, that Model T will most likely have weights added to make it "just as heavy "as the original Model T.
They can't even make a Sunn Beta amp in a smaller head with lots of power to attract the modern market, it's ok to make copies of the original gear but any home builder can do that easily enough.
They need to make stuff that a music shop wants to keep on the shelf, it has to attract the public so they can make some money and also build a new reputation. (A good reputation)

Just the Betas and some cabs. No tube amps.
They're a small boutique shop at this point. Should they not cater to the fans first? They're struggling to keep up with demand.
Catering to fans is great but it will never provide them with the bread and butter for a long time operation, they need to make something they can pump out the door so the profits keep coming in.
It would not be hard to make a Beta preamp in a stompbox that will most likely sell a lot faster then a clone of the original Beta amps.
A small 2 channel Beta pedal can be built using all SMD components into a 1590BB size box, and they can order the PCB's with all the components soldered in place for fairly cheap. They can get the boxes pre-drilled and painted so all that is left is to is basic assembly that should not take long at all.
There is also the original SUNN BUZZ effect unit that they could easily replicate and sell easily, I won't call it a pedal since it plugged into the guitar and just dangled there.
