reverb for bass?

I dont think so. I am spending alot of time with it this weekend. If you explain a little more I can let you know. From what I think I understand of the question, your asking if the tone control can be used so only the highs have reverb? If this is correct I have not experienced it, though was not looking. Let me know if I understand you right, and I will check it out.:D

Yeah, you understood me right - the filter control on the SMMH can put either a high or low pass filter on the wet signal, turning it above noon filters the bass out of the delay/reverb sound which stops things getting too muddy.

I use it all the time live, mainly reverb-y volume swells. Never light reverb, and I never have it on like a guitard would.

I'm using the Boss RV-3 right now and I like it a lot. I've tried my buddies Nano Holy Grail and its pretty sweet as well, just less feature packed, not that that's a bad thing....... :ninja:

Nice man, I would love to hear an example of some of these "swells"

Got any sound clips?

In any of these discussions you get wild-swings of opinions by folks coming from diametric viewpoints. For playing ECM style jazz where the bass is a melodic instrument, reverb works great. For a classic rock band it probably sounds like @ss.

Yeah, I would definitely have to agree.

I'm a solo player, which is why I can drown my bass in extreme amounts of reverb. I'm pretty sure it would sound like crap otherwise!
