I really love flea's tone on this, sounds like he's back to the 62 Jazz. Very similar to his Stadium Arcadium tone. The playing is great, the sounds are great, John's harmonies are BACK! and Anthony sounds… odd. Like he's doing a Colin Farrell impression or something. We'll, it wouldn't really be the chilis without him being a weirdo. I'm into it.

Flea and Chad are solid as usual, Frusciante does his wobbly Hendrix licks and Kiedis... well, at least is pitched to tune.

Nothing to write home about honestly, sounds like a Jam/B-Side tune that didn't quite make it on a serious record. Can't even really figure out what the hook is supposed to be, it's just a boring Chillies song.

The Chili Peppers have achieved a point in their career in which no matter what they release, there will always be enough of a core audience slurping it up saying it's "AMAZING" even when it's puke. The band has become a machine which rides on its past success.

U2 arrived here when they squatted out Pop.
