Rickenbacker finish issue (Resolved by RIC)

the dreaded finish bubble has made its first appearance. Right by the bridge. Any advice how to tackle this? Any way to prevent it from spreading? I'll post pics when I have a chance, I'm at practice and just noticed it. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Wow, was just curious. I've seen a bunch of 2011's that a guy kept getting from MF that had this issue. I figured they might have had that problem worked out by now. Seems to be the jetglo that always has the problem.

If this was software, or computer hardware this would not be a bug, or failure.
The manufacturer would refer to this as:
"An undocumented feature"

Don't know about guitars specifically but work with automotive finishes and I can't imagine a guitar finish being much different. No repairing a finish separation from the substrate. I agree you need to talk with the factory. They should make it right

Hate to hear this I'm curious how's the humidity where you are? and does the bass stay in the case when you aren't playing it?

No humidity, it's like 40 where I'm at. I keep it on my stand in my living room.

Whenever it leaves it's always in the case. It's either in my hands, on the stand at home or in the case.

Will do. I have a little hope, it was manufactured in July of 15 so it's still well within the year for the finish warranty.
