RIP Chris Cornell - Soundgarden/Audioslave

Hm. I wouldn't think it possible to strangle yourself.
Stranger things have happened, Grasshopper.

My wife is of Armenian heritage; we recently saw "The Promise" film, and I was impressed that he did the end credits music. He leaves behind an incredible body of work. SG was putting the Seattle music scene on the map way before Nirvana came along and took all the credit. How many people can boast that Johnny Cash covered their song?

Trent Reznor, for one... =0)

Back to CC - I agree with the person who imagined Chris singing particular songs. One song I wrote some years ago, the sound in my head was always 100% Cornell on vocals. Not that I could ever do that voice justice (I did Hunger Strike a bunch of years ago and couldn't do his high notes; did Fell On Black Days at karaoke once and had FORGOTTEN there were high parts I couldn't do; and so on)

Wayne County Coroner confirms that Cornell hanged himself. Awful.

You may be right, however, people hang themselves all the time. Robin Williams, Aaron Hernandez, people I've known, etc...
Of course. The initial report was that he was found with a "band around his neck", suggesting that he garroted himself - that's what I was questioning. It looks like he did it the old fashioned way though.
