RIP Lemmy Kilmister

I just read this story.. they found tumors on his brain and neck and he was given two to six months to live.. and ended up with a matter of days. (***!!!!!) Damn I f'n HATE cancer. Takes and takes and takes some more... and for some reason, all the best society has to offer. All the ******** are alive and well.. I just don't get it. Lemmy Had Tumors on His Brain and Neck, Was Given Two to Six Months to Live - MetalSucks

It is a sad day for music in general. One of the true heroes has left us. :(

RIP Lemmy. He inspired me to pick up the bass. Saw Motörhead three times, but the most memorable one was the last show in July this year. The moment they started to play, a huge cloud of dust appeared as the crowd went wild and stormed to the stage. He gave it all he had and then some.

Sorry if this offends you in any way...but I don't care, because it's funny...

That's what i've been telling folks for years...Lemmy was very kind and he very much admired the sarcastic personality of John Lennon.

Another thing, most do not know his working relationship with Ozzy in which Lemmy wrote many of the lyrics on "No More Tears" which was the huge comeback album for Ozzy and one that Lemmy has managed to make more money on then Motorhead albums.

Lemmy always considered Motorhead as a "rock and roll band" not heavy metal.....basically "rock and roll with a metallic edge played louder and faster".

Influences were the very 50's rockers for the most part.
Not to get political but Little Richard was someone that Lemmy admired and looked up to. Being a man of color and gay could bring out some very judgemental critisiscm by some in this world but not Lemmy, he would never do that as he was just a real down to earth Gentleman. A rock Icon but would talk with you and treat you as if you were on the same level as he... His Son must be devastated. Just to really have things what appear to be good, his dad around now and able to hang out and he passes on.:crying:. I feel so for his boy... may Heavenly Father have mercy and help him to get through this time... Im going to go cry now. This life is so tough. Be nice to everyone, everyone.

Hi Metalbasspro,

This tank might stand in Bovington Park (UK)??? Has identical colour ...
At least - it is a "Jagdpanzer Hetzer" based on a 38t tank (made by Skoda in czechia).
My late uncle drove such a Hetzer ("baiter") tank in France and Western Germany (not in the Hürtgenwald where the US boys were, but in the Reichswald where the British / Canadians entered Germany) ...
