That single-cut looks fantastic. It looks like it's basically Brian's body design profile without the top horn cut-out, but continuing with the same arc down to the neck...which is why I'm digging it so much. Is this his first single-cut?

It is the first and you're correct, it's his regular shape with the upper horn filled in.

Great looking bass! It's nice to see another new Ristola out there.....mine was supposed to be back from paint but hasn't made it yet....it'll be back next week and then Brian will put it all together.....sooooooon!
No pics...he didn't send them and I didn't ask. I figured I'd learn some self control.......and I only emailed him twice asking about when I could pick it up!

Ha, ha! I've had so many other things on my plate that it's been easier not to obsess about getting this bass. Not to mention, I've had a bass to play. As long as I can still practice and play I'm alright.
I'm picking it up in the morning. Gig tomorrow night and Sunday night and then I start school on Monday...perfect timing. This bass is going to get a serious workout. Pics to follow. I think there's going to be a photographer at the gig on Sunday as well so there may be some nice pics of the bass for that one.

Yeah man! These basses look amazing. I'll subscribe to this thread to see the pic's and hopefully hear a clip or two eventually.
