Thanks Basdryt! My collection is a bit embarassing at times - like a fine wine or a good meal, I just enjoing playing insanely well crafted basses such as a Ritter. Jens is going to do a big hook up for me in 2010, so I'll keep the group posted.

As for my current Ritter - pictures do not do her justice!!!!! I'm sure that everyone else who owns one feels the same way. Jaw dropping looks and sound - incredible!

Thanks!

You're not the only one...! I would be right where you are, if I could scrape up the cash :) Well, maybe over the years I can expand a little, but I'd have to win the lottery to get something as large as your collection...! :p

This sounds very, very interesting... can't you let out a bit more info here?? I take it you're not talking about a custom order?

At least one custom and a Royal Edition that he's finishing before the end of the year. The custom one should be fun - I gave an idea to Jens over the phone a week ago and he's running with it!

Man, you've got to leak some more info on this soon... you're getting 2 Ritters more, a "secret" custom and a Royal...??

Sure, I got my Royal and the custom in the same year, but I don't have the rest of your collection...! I want your job! :D

First off, Happy New Year!

Jens has started 2010 with a bang here are some of his new, GAS inducing basses, including the Cora, which has a nod to the Jazz bass IMHO:

Can't chose between burl and spalt? Here's the answer (and my personal favorite):

Ooooh, beat me to it...! Happy New Year, Thunderitter, and the rest of you guys :)

It's the first time in a long time I've seen this much come from Jens, both in terms of basses, pictures, new models, updates to the website, etc etc. I like it ! :D

The Cora model is really cool, I totally agree that he's moving towards a Jazz with that one, just a "fat" Roya-Jazz. It looks like the body is smaller and the string spacing is more narrow? I'd love to try one of those out, but not in that white/gold color scheme. For the same reason, I'm not completely in love with the baritone guitar, but I absolutely love the design. If he chose to put one out in purple, well then that would be another matter :p

Of the above, the burl/spalt 6-string is my second favorite, but I'm completely blown away by that one piece flame maple Concept...! MAN, that looks good ! :bassist:

Remeber this one? I don't own it, but the colour came from me! :-)
Jens sold it before I coulod ask him about the bass...

Oh my God! I was just about to snipe in with a typical jealous snide Ritter remark or two and then I see that baritone guitar! Talk about Gas inducing. I've never even considered getting a baritone (though people say they are great fun), and now somehow I've GOT to have that one no matter what it costs!!!

Woe is me!

These are my 2 Ritters. The Raptor now has an additional knob and toggle switch added for the 13pin connector in the rear via the Lightwave pickups. The blend of the deep lightwave sound and the true wood tone of the magnetic combined with the VB99 is jawdropping to say the least:eek:
