^ I have the worst gas for this in four string with block inlays and a trem (< Maybe not the last one)

And I thought I'd never like cofee table basses... then I found ritter! :D :bassist:

Yes! With a stunning bass like that, you cannot NOT become a member...! :D
You have #28, welcome to the club! What's the story on your bass? Did you order it yourself or pick it up from a store?
Thank you so much! I am indeed proud to be a member if this illustrious club.

No, it was not custom made for me. I bought it "off the shelf" from a store in my native country Sweden (I currently live in Switzerland). The store I bought from has a second Roya that was also mind blowing in its beauty but I have no experience with 6-strings.
In case you are interested, have look at it!

I agree, it's a beautiful bass for sure...! I think I have actually seen it on the webpage you're linking to before, I think they had two 6 strings at that time...? I also have a soft spot for the Orange Honey finish over spalted maple, and I'd love to have a trem bar to toy around with, but I think I'd need a shorter string spacing if I was going for a 6 string Ritter bass.

Thank you for all kind comments. But, fellow Ritter owners, where do we go from here? Is it possible to top a Ritter bass? Is there anything out there that is either better to play/sound or better looking?

....another Ritter!

Exactly...! :D

Well, seriously, it's pointless to talk about what's better in this level of craftmanship - there's only different :)

I love my Ritters, but I still want other basses - my Fodera is a completely different beast altogether, and so are the old Fenders. Possible future additions will be as well (except for the aforementioned more Ritters...!).

Hi, this is my first post...so a big hello to all.
Just been on the Ritter website, today they've just announced a new Bass design called the Cora.
It must be named after Josh Dunham's (bassist for Prince...who owns a signature Ritter Royal) wife who's name is Cora.
I've written to Jens to see if we can have a sneak peek.
Exciting stuff...start saving....

Hello Ritter Club members! Today, I became the proud owner of Ritter #940 - a smoking four string with lots of umph and tone in all the right places:hyper: Jens has been amazing to work with and hopefully in 2010, I'll add a couple more of his amazing creations to the collection.

Pics of the Ritter below along with the "family" welcoming him to the fold
