Question: If the owner of the "John Turner Fake Ritter" turns up in this thread, will you give him (or her) a number?

No. At least not until everything had been cleared up and the bass was identified as a genuine Ritter with another serial#. Remember that the serial number for the "fake" was only given over the phone by GC staff, we have never seen a picture of it, only of JT's.
I have scheduled to have a talk with Jens in February, so maybe he can shed some more light on the situation for me then.

So... since I give out the numbers, the fortunate/unfortunate buyer of the now infamous GC "Ritter" would not be able to get a number at this time.

... now, where is that Dr. Evil-smiley...? :ninja:

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I used to own Alembics and Status, but after I got my Ritter, well, you can figure out the rest. Selling everything for more Ritters!!

I'm currently trying to get my hands on Okon [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], let's see how that ends up.

You all have some unbelievable basses. But I have to be honestly, the Platinum Roya Concept is one of the most beautiful basses I've ever seen. Congrats on that!

Alright, Okon 0838 is now part of the family! This bass has one of the most amazing features I've ever seen: Touch sensitive fretboard blue LEDs. They light up when you press a note on the fingerboard (only where your finger is, not the whole fretboard) and they turn off when you take your finger out. With this feature, doing a slide looks like a shooting star, and tapping looks like a broken always-blinking christmas tree. It is awesome. I'll try to make a video soon and post it so you guys can see. It also has blue side LEDs, and the tremolo, as you can see.
Here are two shots, the Okon and the Okon with my Classic:

Wow, you got your hands on that one, then...! Congrats on getting a killer bass ! I've updated the member list to include it.

I'm seriously considering an Okon for my next Ritter, and the idea of the powder coated hardware is very appealing - I would have kept the white hardware on that bass...! :)

Now, probably Stefan will agree with me on this one: Get an Okon! It is an awesome design, it gets a lot of attention without being too radical. It is really great and playability, well, you own Ritters so I don't need to keep on going!

I am now considering ordering a Jupiter... But first I have to find the money... :help:
Does any one here in the Club owns one or has played one and is willing to discuss some questions?

And yes, I would also have kept the white hardware on...

although just a few minutes, i played a jupiter at Jens' booth at Musikmesse some time ago.

Design can be discussed, but I was blown away how perfect that bass fits. I felt it being part of my body!

as you can configure PUs and electronics as u like, u can have it sound the way u want
