Roasted Precision Bass Body Pickguard Choice

I voted tort pickguard because a real brown shade of tort would pop on that bass. However the black is a very close second and looking deeper probably blends more with the fretboard tying it all together.

I voted “black”. I think it looks a lot more rich than the others. Very classy!
PS: I would also go with all black hardware and black screws.

I think each looks nice in its own way. You can't go wrong picking any in my opinion.
black anodized are you kidding me!? i didn't even know that was an option. where do you get one of those! thats a beautiful combo i say
I almost voted black, but I found the contrasting silver of all the screws distracting, in an industrial, riveted sheet metal kind of way. If you go black, then I highly recommend that you use black screws. Otherwise, Parchment for me.

The 10 hole AVRI is very hard to come by. You most likely need to have one made. I’ve been on the look out for one for a couple of years.
The 13 hole one can be found easily on Amazon I believe.
I chose Black from reading the title of the thread, before I even opened the thread and read it was an option. Then I saw the pictures and agreed with myself.
They all look great. I went parchment so as not to distract from that lovely wood grain, but I can see any of them being excellent. Enjoy, whichever you choose!
I ordered a fender pure vintage ‘58 gold anodized guard and sent it to M&Z Anodizing in Dallastown, PA. They did the black anodization for me, I like the shape of the fpv’58 better and it already has the tug bar holes with that are already aligned. I know you can get other black anodized guards but I prefer to be a snob about it lol.

Go clear guard with a chrome control cover.
The black looks very classy against that grain. But like someone pointed out already, black screws and black turners would have to be there. That would be perfect.
