Yeah, I saw her in the late '70s a few times, always in search of the perfect bass player. Made albums with Jack Bruce, Will Lee. She always wanted to be a rock star, and was very bitter she wasn't, but she always seemed best solo, as on We the People. Doesn't speak too well for bass players, though...

Yeah man, check out their videos also, their vocals are pretty nasty at times, but good lord do they rip it up.
Oh, and their bassist is freaking spectacular, especially considering her bass is as big as her, and it looks like she has a three fret hand span. I love this band so much.

They are one of my favorite bands. She would destroy a lot of the whiny, wuss-boys on the radio today. One of the best front-women I've ever seen.
I also like Paramore because Hayley knows how to deliver a great hook without being overly cliched. Its probably doesn't make me cool to like them, but I'm a sucker for a good pop band. I also like Flyleaf a lot.
No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom was one of the best albums on the 90s.
For the classic stuff, you can't go wrong with Heart or Pat Benetar.

I can agree on point 1, however I believe point 2 is the exact opposite of the truth.
