Rondo Omega Bass

Can either of you guys comment on the neck finish? Slick and glossy, bare wood feel, somewhere in between?

I agree with what Awesome said....There's nothing rough or grabby about how it feels.Effortless sliding up and down.

I've yet to get hot n' sweaty with 'er...But I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to keep from gumming up.

Took some PG less shots today.

Close-up of too much caffine or not enough.

Got one of these for Christmas. Like the others have said it's heavy, has a few sharp fret ends, and has some rusty hardware. Mine also has a darker piece of wood on the bottom that is slightly off putting but it's not horrible. Not a bad bass though and once I get it set up I think it will play great. I want to put a black pickguard on it, has anyone done that yet. Do you think this one from allparts would fit well? http://www.allparts.com/PG-0755-033-Black-Pickguard-for-Jazz-Bass_p_2699.html
