To the players of these very interesting basses, how capable is an RBV in getting a credible P-bass sound? More than or less than a Jazz neck pup? Or??? And what settings would you use? I'm trying to decide between an RBV and an Am Std P V. I have no doubt that the RBV is much more versatile, but there's no opportunity to test one. And I definitely want to be able to get a P sound.
Thanks,
Al

You'll manage a passable P style sound with the neck pickup soloed, in series mode, much, much closer than any single coil Jazz neck pickup would provide.
Hey guys, new recipient of an RBIV and loving it so far. What I'm not loving is the stock case. Not something I'd feel comfortable gigging with.
Any recommendations for a tight fitting HSC for these basses?
Anyone know the hex size for the RBIV bridge? Is it STD or metric?
