Roscoe Classic Owners Club

Is that for a TB"er? I don't know why but it gives me BC rich vibes. I never thought about ziricote top.

Yeah, that Ziricote double-reverse-P is mine. Should be shipping this week, hopefully. I'd been watching Leland Sklar play his "Frankenstein bass" on YouTube and got a notion to try that pickup configuration. Of course I'm also familiar with the BC Rich metal basses from the 80s...

Keith had to get a new CNC program set up for it, but was willing to do it.

I've seen it in various stages of completion at his place a couple of times throughout the past few weeks and it looks glorious all cleaned up. I've also been intrigued by that pup config more often recently. I've heard some nice tones out of the Sims super quads that have me itching to to one with those.
Love to hear this thing if you get some vids together!

Hey, @jrex . Here's a start: 34" or 35" scale, 9.5" fingerboard radius, 19mm string spacing. Neck shape is a definable/negotiable attribute. Subject to verification by Keith Roscoe. He'll be happy to talk with you if you call him at (336) 274-8810.

I saw that bass on instagram and flipped. I have really been curious about the reverse p pickup at the bridge. Please post some clips if you can! Beautiful bass.

Hey all! I am happy to find this thread. I am a better collector than player but one thing I know is I love Roscoe Basses. I've got a P5 Classic, a J5 Classic both reliced and yesterday I put down the deposit for a Classic PJ5.

Nice collection!
Photos please (especially the P5)

I finally have some pictures of my Classic J & P basses. I remember when I first ordered my P Bass I asked to have reliced and Keith Roscoe told me he's not so into it but one of he guys in his shop can do a good job. I told him I liked it because then you don't have to worry about scratching and dinging it up. Besides, "when my wife sees it she thinks it's just another old bass.
