I do! First year run 2017 serial number 12. I have an alder one too. So , poplar is a little heavier that's really my only observation. If you told me it was ash I'd believe you as far as tonal properties, slightly scooped and a little bright compared to my US Lakland with Alder and Rosewood. They are great and craftsmanship is exceptional. They are very underrated compared to other F shape US made boutiques. I think Keith does great work with his relic nitro finishes too. The necks are perfect. So my other is a hybrid. It's an alder P bass with an Uber skinny J neck and PJ Nordstrands. The J has Howard Ulyate's and an Aguilar OBP1 boost only with a passive tone control. This formula is just like a Sadowsky. It's a tried and true formula for a modern classic Jazz tone .Any of you cats have a poplar body Classic? Pros/cons? Lots of online verbiage about poplar as a body…too heavy, too soft, liked, not liked etc.
Very excited about this! Hard to capture the Aztec Gold , but it looks great in person. Love the fact that it's routed for a P pup too.
