It’s odd. I would have never guessed I’d be favoring a passive P4 with flats over my active 5’s. Just took a good one I guess. I’ve tried to like P basses before but the Roscoe Classic put me over the edge. The only other P I’ve liked is a friends ‘59. Fiesta red, tort, rosewood, pretty much my Roscoe but a Fender.

I have a set of Sadowsky Chrome knobs for those Sadowsky pots when you find them.
Sorry Joe. I meant the knobs. Will the Sadowsky fit in the Roscoe pots?
Yes they will. Several Roscoe guys have installed them on their basses.
On my (older) SKB they were 8mm (5/16"). Which coupled with the depth needed to clear the top, made them hard to source when my volume pot quit.
I believe (based on a conversation with Gard) newer builds use a different (larger) size.
I had a few people suggest I "just drill the hole larger" which, sorry, ain't happening...
Pull the knob, carefully back off the nut, and measure...
Wait, is the Sadowsky preamp to Roscoe bass, Bart NTMB to Sadowsky bass happening?
So I have this crazy idea....since I own both a Roscoe SKB 5 string and a Sadowsky Metro 5 string I am willing to try to swap the preamp on these basses as a test and see what kind of results/tone/sound I would get.....I can always put them back, right?
John East Knobs go great on a Roscoe as well. I also got these from Best Bass Gear, but it's been a few years.

Body shape, including neck pocket / pickup locations and top contouring, is determined by design criteria of any given time, year built, and person configuring and contouring the bass. It's a hand-built, evolutionary scenario extending back many years, and according to interpretation of artisan builders working within the Roscoe shop at any given time.
Here's my take on it Scott. My first Roscoe didn't have that "more of a point" feature. It had a more traditional "Football" jack plate that could be slightly bent to conform to the radius of the body. My next Roscoe (a new build in 2000) had the "more of a point" feature. It also had the new "Electrosocket" jack feature. I'm thinking that originally Keith and the shop thought that it would fit better in a slightly flattened out area and added the "more of a point" feature (and later removed it after finding that it really didn't matter).
Just a theory though.
Thanks guys. I was hoping those wouldn’t be the answers but I was afraid it was only because I think it means the angular LG’s are no longer available new. I love that look. So it’s probably only available in a used bass. Ah well. All mine have had rounded style. The search continues lol.

Finally completed the reassembly process for the Wilkins-refinished LG. Love the updated like-new look.
