Idk. Maybe feel? Idk. By spec it’s a fantastic bass. Just not feeling it. My 13 yo son said “dad, you don’t have to like a bass.”Why? Is it the sound, or the feel, or just something else?
Yup, that's solid advice from your boy. We sometimes overcomplicate why in paper we SHOULD like something. We shouldn't have to convince ourselves of liking something. I've been in the same boat as you with another hi end bass.Idk. Maybe feel? Idk. By spec it’s a fantastic bass. Just not feeling it. My 13 yo son said “dad, you don’t have to like a bass.”
Trying the LG3000 again today at church. I know this should be my favorite bass, but I’m just not “bonding” with it.
I’m guessing that’s it, but I do like my Classic P 4 string.Maybe because it's a 4 string? I have played some great 4 bangers, but even when I don't need the low B (or the high C in one case), they just don't seem to do it for me.

Just AWESOME! … not sure what else to say.
Spanish/Cuban Cedar body ... Much brighter looking in person ... like amber/maple syrup with a touch of orange.

Oh that is sweet brother! I too am enjoying my Spanish Cedar Roscoe. That is a gorgeous bass man. Nice score!
Very Sweet. Congratulations!
What type of fingerboard is that?
Much like my ash build but with that nice 'Phaat' that the Cedar brings to the table.
Awesome bass! Could you elaborate on the ‘Phaat’ vs. Ash? And versus mahogany if you’ve had a Roscoe with it? Thank you
