Roscoe Club

No denying the great sound of a Roscoe low B!
We played a couple songs that really needed the low B this weekend so the Roscoe got the call.
It sounded huge in the house and IEM's and .... well OK in the live stream but even our live stream couldn't hide the Roscoe's low B string.:)
Added bonus is we used a string ensemble for the service today and they really shine in the choir special @ 23:00. The choir sounded excellent too!

Music starts @ 8:12

Amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Wow, the Red Devil is priced better than my old standard plus. Although I really like the look of my old one. The wenge board on mine is really special and the top is much thicker than the usual standard plus top. I have tried 3 times to love this bass. Literally bought and sold 3 times. My wife would kill me if it showed up at the house again. And honestly, I have no need for it. The last time I bought it back was for “nostalgia” and it’s just not enough of a reason. It does remind me of the GTG weekend and my lesson with Jimmy Haslip. A great time in my life for sure.

I'm a great fan of Roscoe 6s with Bart candy bars, and there are several on Reverb with them, with decent pricing. If you're game for the challenge of a 6, be prepared for some satisfying rewards.

I stupidly sold this one:

Th "Jazz" Bartolini in this position sounded terrific.

My community band played our Oktoberfest last weekend it was 108 degrees heat index. Played the SKB through Bergantino Reference cabs and B/Amp line to PA.

Sounds great.

Weather this summer has been brutal. I am in San Antonio so I can relate to the heat but at least you get more rain up there. We are having a serious drought. Fortunately, I have had only inside gigs lately.

More of a deal than the $2,500? It’s my old bass and it’s a beauty. Sadly I have no use for it, and my wife would kill me if I bought it a 4th time. Even though it was the first bass Keith made for me 12 years ago.
