My lg 5 string has straight pickups. I posted a couple of photos previously. Go back some pages. It's somewhere in the 170's.
Ya that was a nice one. Here are the specs for it:
LG 3005
Exhibition Quilt Maple top
Swamp Ash body
Amber finish
Bartolini 3-band preamp
Spalted Purpleheart fingerboard
Ivory nut
I'd of kept it only for the 35" scale. :/

Have a look in the "Bugs" area. Seems several others have noted the same issue.

it looks like the jb singles and the standard soaps are only millimeters apart? is there a big difference?
Gentlemen , with the help of one of the fine lads here at TB I took delivery of his 2008 LG 3003 yesterday, one of the rare 3 . It's a joy to hold and play , it's very dainty but with serious balls tuned E,A,D
It has the original spec sheet with it in the case with the original owners name in it as well as on the body so it was very helpful knowing what we have here ..specs are
Exhibition Quilt Maple top , Alder body in Trans Purple. The neck is Maple , Purple heart with Maple & Cherry accent laminations. Maple fingerboard .
I tracked it today to hear what she sounds like a touch of ebow in the beginning , a wee delay and verb on the lead

If you tuned this in fifths (E B F#), you could have the range of a 24 fret 4-string tuned EADG (less the G4 pitch).
It would definitely be unique.
I've been tuning my 4-string in fifths for some time now, so, I'm fairly used to playing E B F# C# or CGDA (octave below cello tuning). A 3-string tuned E B F# has crossed my mind quite a few times...
