I think it is a LITTLE colder in Southeast PA than it is here - but I'll be leaving Ca in a few years.

Roscoe bart pickups?
I had a fretted SKB6 years ago with a one piece myrtle body (purpleheart board)...Roscoe Barts (I think a demeter pre..that may have been the bass that started the Roscoe/Demeter thing...great combo)...it was an amazing sounding bass. I have no doubt that a myrtle wood body will sound killer for fretless!
