A very rare Roscoe LG 7 String Bass Guitar is for sale on ebay.com by the original owner who says it's the first LG 7 String made.

Is that because it's a 7 string or because it's a 7 string LG? Not that I want one. Heck I can barely wrap my head around a 6 string.By the way, for the record, "very rare" and "the first" are both accurate. You may add "only" and "ever" to that list.![]()

I'm guessing serious neck dive may be one of the big problems.Because it's an LG 7 string - just don't work.

Wow that is sweet! Is the pickup in the standard P position or a little farther toward the neck? In any case it's an elegantly simple bass. You gotta let us know how it sounds

It's done and being shipped to me.
I can't wait to get my hands on it!
It's in the standard position. Just seems a lot closer due to it having 24-frets. Simple is what I was going for, and the guys at Roscoe really nailed it for me.
Thanks for the info, Gard. I'm keeping a data-base of all the Roscoe 7 Strings I discover. So just for the record, is this not another Roscoe LG 7 ?

Oh damn.
I guess there ARE two. Hopefully, they will never get into the same place, they might multiply...worse that tribbles, that would be.

There is something wrong about this bass and I am having a hard time putting my finger on it... Ahh, someone made a mistake and built it backwards. The neck and body are facing the wrong way.
I bet this bass sounds amazing, like a P bass but 100 times better.
I'm curious to see (hear?) how the ash/pau ferro combo sounds with a P.
That sounds awesome!OK, we're officially off and running! Century Standard Plus 5 fretless, ash/koa/unlined black diamondwood, Bart MM pickup with three-way switch, Bart NTMB minus the blend knob, black hardware.
