A very rare Roscoe LG 7 String Bass Guitar is for sale on ebay.com by the original owner who says it's the first LG 7 String made.

By the way, for the record, "very rare" and "the first" are both accurate. You may add "only" and "ever" to that list.

Is that because it's a 7 string or because it's a 7 string LG? Not that I want one. Heck I can barely wrap my head around a 6 string.

I was told there were "about 40" 7-string SKB's made.
There's been one on EBay for months, and I have one.
So there must be some special challenges with the LG form factor...

Wow that is sweet! Is the pickup in the standard P position or a little farther toward the neck? In any case it's an elegantly simple bass. You gotta let us know how it sounds

It's in the standard position. Just seems a lot closer due to it having 24-frets. Simple is what I was going for, and the guys at Roscoe really nailed it for me.

Keith has been building basses for a long time, I wonder how many other illegitimate Little Girl Roscoe's are out there?

Been backwards my whole life. Luckily the guys at Roscoe were willing to build it that way.
