I use my Genz Streamliner 900 with a Epifani UL410 and love the tone.
I'll have to search a bit. I know I would love either amp, but all my gigging right now is DI/IEM/Silent stage. I only need an amp for home practice and occasional "acoustic" jazz gigs - meaning no PA, just a guitar amp, vibes, drums and me. I am a little leery of spending a lot for practice in my basement, but by the time I get a nice powered cab I suppose I'd be at $1,000 anyway.
I could just get a Fender Rumble I suppose. People say they are pretty decent and loud when needed.

The DSM-Noisemaker Omni-Cab Sim has really changed my whole mindset with amps in general. I recently built an IEM rig for my band and I have been using the OCS for a couple of months now... It's the most fun that I've had playing with phones ever. The depth of the bass is really amazing. I will be offloading one of my Demeter/Berg rigs at some point since I won't need it anymore.
Indeed. That was my big takeaway from the GTG -- nothing that anyone else brought gave me G.A.S., except maybe Roland's SKB 6-string. I'm really happy with my current stable!And for the record, I played 3 Fodera's at the GTG this weekend. Only one of those basses played and sounded as a good as a Roscoe. It was actually the first time that I've played a Fodera that was up to the standard of some of the better Roscoe's that I've I've played. Of course, IMO ..........

Practice and small performances (home, church, acoustic bar gigs, etc.) get the Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 and either a Genz 112 or 210 cab (@SteveC , funny that we are both Roscoe and Genz Benz shuttle fans...your old basses sound great through them as does everything else I own).
Large/loud/outdoor gigs get the Genz Benz 9.0 and a Gigmaster Soundworks-built Greenboy design 15/6/1. Visit gigmaster_soundworks_v4_015.htm and the white baffle one in the middle of the page is my rig from 5 years ago (PRE - Pre Roscoe Era). If you guys aren't familiar with Greenboy design cabinets, set aside at least a half hour and enjoy that rabbit hole. I haven't played on any other cab so clear before. I wish I could have A/B'ed it at the GTG, but I'm too far away.

Those older Eden WT-550's are great sound amps. Similar (IMO) to the TFunk sound except more open sounding highs. The lows are also bit more compressed sounding on the TFunk (which I like; because it just kills when sync'd with the bass drum!!!). Both heads kill with a Berg 112 cabinet.
My theory is, if it sounded good 10-15 years ago, there's no reason to think that it would be any different today.

I used an Eden 550 before I went Genz Benz. It was a nice head until I had an issue. GB won me over with great gear and whatblittle CS I’ve needed has been exceptional.
I’ve be using Genz Benz for years now so I’m pretty sure my new rig will be a Genzler, just not sure if I’ll go 350 combo and 10’s or 800/112.

I’m leaping. Told Greg I’ll call him tomorrow with my card number. Going to go MG800 and BA112-3. If I’m going to upgrade I may as well go 12 instead of 10 and have the drive and power of the 800. Going to start with a single 12 and see how it goes. Can always get another later.
Now this is just an observation ...... all you Genzler guys go easy on me .....
There sure have been a lot of used Genzler 800 heads for sale over the last 6 months (do a search in the TB for sale forum).
This is coming from someone that loved his Genz-Benz 6.2 Suttlemax (for over 3 years). Just saying, if they're really the bees knees, why are so many on the used market?

Well Joe, people try stuff and find it isn’t for them all the time. I can search the classifieds and find all kinds of great gear for sale all the time. I don’t know that it is indicative of quality or usefulness.
The Bergantino stuff is really nice no doubt, but for me, I don’t need all of that flexibility. Selectable frequencies, presets, on and on. I’m trying to simplify my life. One nice bass - Roscoe Century 5. I have a nice DI/IEM board. A decent synth. A good, solid, simple amp and I’ll be set.
Believe me, I’ve debated the Bergantino rig. More than one person has said it’s worth the $600 difference. Maybe it is. I’m sure I’ll question myself a few times yet tonight and tomorrow morning.
But at some point I need to just decide. I don’t think I can go wrong with either rig. Both are very popular right now.

I can answer that for my perspective anyways. I've owned 5-6 Genzler 800 heads and have traded and sold each along the way trying diffrent heads. During this time of trying multiple heads 1 thing has been certain in that I've always wanted a Genzler back. I'm not found anything in the 7-$850 range that can beat it for me when considering build, tone, and ease of use. The only amp I've been wanting to try is the Bergantino B-amp and the Forte that's coming out. Those seem to be on a diffrent level and price range.
The Forte is still supposed to have the tone that the B-amp has without the bells and whistles. If your not needing the extra features then the Forte seems to be a bargain at that price. I'm hoping to try one soon.
Good choice, Steve! Can't go wrong with this rig, I'm sure you will be very happy with the upgrade. Tell Greg I said hello.

I still own my 18 year old SWR Redhead Combo and my 15 year old Genz Benz GBE600. I need to re-cone or replace the speakers in the Redhead but it still plays. I have owned the T-Funk 420 which Dave upgraded and I have owned a Berg 12 cabinet, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I had an Eden 800 and a Eden 212 cab, I have used a Stewart Worldtour 1.6 with both a Navigator, Epifani Quest, Demeter HPB1, Demeter VTBP and Alembic F1X before finally giving up on the separate preamp/power amp setup.
I have a GB Shuttle 6 and a Streamliner 900. I play both those heads through my Epifani UL410 which is a 4 ohm cabinet. I tend to like the GB and Epifani combination. I tested a Ampeg 410 cab at Sam Ash with my Streamliner and it sounded very good, not as clean as my Epi but it could easily be my second choice of cabinet.
