As great a deal as the jazz 4 is, I think I’d be sorry it wasn’t a 5. I was just playing and I really use my B sting. I did find that pulling up my mid knob and slightly bumping it just a tad while panning to the neck pup yielded a decent P bass tone. Back to center and keeping the mid bump was a nice “modern” tone. I’ll give it a try at church and rehearsal this weekend.
