Who needs G strings, anyway? Or frets. . or lines? While diamonds might be best friends to some, Dymond wood is best friends to others. .

remcult,
Is it just in a certain area of the finger board or is every where (even open)?
If it’s in all positions of the fingerboardI’d say it would be either a bad string or the bridge saddle (slot).
If it’s just in one area, maybe due to the routing for the truss rod or really inconsistent grain in the finger board (neither is a good thing).

Whatever Dave (ExaltBass) uses. He makes my cables. What brand of instrument cable do you use that a right angle plug fits in the 'recessed' Roscoe jack? I've been too nervouse to use my right angle cable because it feels like they barely catch before hitting the black metal jack surround.
Frankly they all seem to work for me, although 99% of the time it's a Fender or a Shure wireless cable. But I've also used PlanetWaves, Mogami, Hosa, and a bunch of cable-du-jour generic backline-supplied cables. The one cable I'm sure I've never used is Monster... Maybe your jack is mounted a little too deep and could be spaced out some...What brand of instrument cable do you use that a right angle plug fits in the 'recessed' Roscoe jack?...
Sounds nice. Wonder how they sound on a soapbar bass?
So the next question is...which flats?
