Roscoe Club

Right now, Ernie Ball Cobalts with a C from a leftover set of D'Addario HalfRounds.
Personally, I prefer D'Addario EXL Nickels, but my paying projects are blues and rock (more Classic than modern) and rounds give me more mwah than is really appropriate for those. With the Cobalts I can dial in some mwah where I want it without having to fight 'too much.'
You're talking fretless, right? I always used rounds on my fretless.
I'm asking about fretted Roscoes. I know Chromes have been mentioned.

Also, what stands do you guys find the most portable, yet safely hold your bass. I have been using this type:

I don't ike the ones that use the weight of your bass to close up. I like to grab and not worry about that.

This is the same stand that I use! I love them!

I've got a set of D'Addario tapewound on the 7, but I rarely play it these days.
I liked them, if that helps...
I've also had Deep Talkin' Flats on a fretted and thought they were fine, although I no longer have that instrument.
I don't see why I wouldn't like Cobalt Flats on the fretted 5, just it came with DR Pure Blues and I haven't felt the need to change them yet...

I've been using these for a while and they work real nice. I use em with my LG's and SKB's.

Just order from Sweetwater. They are likely your best price and they ship for free.
Normally I would but I’m leaving Friday and it might not get here in time. I’m gonna visit some music places anyway so I can just pick one up. Need it for Sunday to “display” my 2 basses at the GTG. I don’t mind throwing some cash the way of the “mom and pop” shop if I can.

Since we are discussing accessories ect ..... check out my gig bag collection lol. I have two more than needed but I love storing Basses in gig bags.

That's a lot of Roscoe Gig bags!
How in the world do you know which bass is in which bag? Labels? I'd be afraid that I'd get in a hurry and take the wrong bass to the gig.
I'm in the "protect my basses from Grand kids" mode". I have just 4 gig bags (one's a dub bag) and 4 hard cases. When I take my basses out of the house I put them in the gig bags. The hard cases never leave the house.

I always leave mine in the bags. Dust protection if nothing else. Our house is dusty as we have hot water heat so no circulation through a filter. Kinda sucks but the heat in the winter is way better than forced air. I only need 2 bags so....
