Roscoe Club

Differences? They just sound a bit different hard to say how exactly. Funny because after playing each one I was like “right on I like that one the best” lol so whichever one I played last was my favorite . I guess if you play a 5er go with the SL 212 you will hear and feel the difference between the 10’s as it’s fuller. If you just slay all day on a passive p bass or jazz or if you play in a Marcus Miller tribute band grab the 4x10

I feel like one day I want to play 90s grunge and alt, and the next I want to play 60s soul, and then I want to get back into the books and play Bach's concerto suites.

My Eden 115s sometimes sound great, and then sometimes I want something totally different.

I heard my AG700 through an SL410x, and it sounded great. But man, they are $$$. So Everytime I am about to pull the trigger, I psych myself out and say, " but would the 212 sound even better??"

Ugh, GAS combined with paralysis of analysis is a terrible condition. I think I need another beer.

ParaGasAlys? GasAralysis? Paralyzed by gas. Ouch.

How will you spell relief? Oh, you already answered. B-E-E-R. Just beware of the drunken shopper syndrome. .

I almost spit my beer all over my computer screen while reading this one. Well played sir!

Edit: I was totally, while inebriated, comparing Epifani to Berganitno and Gensler. That's an expensive shopping cart.

I had a practice with a Pastor and his Praise band for a outside Outreach tomorrow for feeding some less fortunate families in our area. Anyways I took my new Blue Quilt Roscoe and he was blown away by the whole package of It. He a professional musician that went to College and made a living being a studio fill in and now Pastors a local church. Bass just kills and is flawless. I will also have the privilege of playing my Genzler 350 and 2 of my 10-2 Genzler arrays tomorrow for this 3 hour event.

Yea they are expensive. They sound great with my Roscoes as does both the AG 700 and TH 700. I personally like the way the Low B sounds from my SKBs through the SL212. I would choose that cab for that reason. The SL212 sounds louder and even fuller side by side with two individual SL 112’s. Add the SL112 in top like did and you get more ear level volume. If I had the coin I’d have a 4x10 and the 2x12.

That has to be my new favorite quote!:D

I'm currently going through "paralysis of analysis" in the area of bass strings. I'm to the point now that I've analyzed the sound and feel of strings so much that I'm paralyzed and can't decide which set to keep on which bass.:help::facepalm::greedy:

Sounds like a worthy cause to play  .........

LOL I still have to do a double take when I see the depth of the quilt in that top! I don't think that I've ever seen a deeper quilt in all my years as a bass admirer!:)

Well I had the chance to play my LG Roscoe today at a huge outdoor outreach today using my Genzler 350 head and 2 of my 10-2 arrays. Anyways a band I knew had a bass player that is one of the best in our area and he played my setup and bass. He raved over that bass and amp rig saying it was one of the best sounding and playing rigs he hear. That bass sounded as good as any bass I've heard through a mix. Had several some up afterwards saying how good I and the bass sounded. Man these basses sound so thick and good in a full band mix. Loved what I heard tonight.
