Happy New Years!
Back at you Keith!
I actually stay awake into the new year! Watched a very entertaining A&M-Duke game. Like him or not, Johnny Football is sure fun to watch!

I may have to add a fretless back again. Nothing like a mahogany body, diamondwood board, JB pup placement, Roscoe fretless. Should have not sold he one I had. I'll never learn.
Thanks Steve
I've found that I practice a lot on just one bass when I put my other bass(es) away "permanently" for a while before selling them.
Just made the jump from 4 to 6, oddly enough at age 46...
I can see it's going to take some time, and a lot more shedding, but I'm already hooked.
This is a CS 3006 (#4030) that's been making the rounds here. I'm glad I nabbed it, but I'm also keeping my LG 3000

Congrats Asher! Classic looking Roscoe.
Roscoe 6'ers have IMO the very best feeling neck out there!
I played them exclusively for about 3 years and only recently went back to 5's. I went back to 5's primarily because I started back playing a 4 banger more and while it became easy to switch back and forth from 5 to 6, when I threw the 4 string in mix I began to have a few moments of "what string am I on" during gigs. That plus I started stringing one of my 5's E-C for recording purposes and it seem to make a bit more sense (from a hand fatigue perspective).
I almost bought a 6 (again) last month. I like (trying) to play Yellowjackets stuff and a 6 would be nice - but I get by OK on my 5.
Has anyone tried the Reed James RJ Neo Humbuckers in a Roscoe? Wondered how they would sound relative to the Roscoe Barts in an SKB3005...
