Beautiful bass Bongo!

I’ve been playing more acoustic guitar these days.
Last night the wife and I cozied up by the pool and burnt a nice fire.
Sometimes you just need to act like everything is normal...

If I had a place like that to run to I could care less how long I had to be quarantined lol.

I certainly shouldn’t complain at all Shane. It sure beats being cooped up in the house!
We’re back at it again tonight. I lit a fire in the fire place, fired up my Green Egg and threw on some nice ribeye steaks.
I’m not sure how much more of this I can take!:D

Just wanted to share a recording, song starts at 15:55. It's a Christian song in a Christian video in case that might bother some. Regardless, it's a nice original song by my bff Marco (vocalist/guitarist), and it features the JB fretless.

Awesome!
Powerful prayer, anointed song and tasteful fretless playing!
Thanks for sharing!

Ribeye steaks?? I’m on my way down!!! I’ll bring some homemade wine to wash the pollen and the steak down!!

All the used inventory is way down. There is usually 30 or so 5 string Warwicks and now there are 8. I suspect most of the closed stores just pulled their listings because they can't ship them.
I suspect all used stuff from closed stores won’t be viewable
About a month ago GC had a really nice LG3005 for 1600 or so. I would have jumped on it except it was nearly identical to the one I own now.

Hey guys. I had this custom Roscoe made for me back in 2006 when I graduated high school (I saved my pennies). Sold it sometime in college because I was a broke stoner college kid who was bad with money. I've always wondered who owns it, where it is, and if I could buy it back (not a broke college kid anymore). Have you guys seen it at all?

He guys. What compressors do you find work well with Roscoe Barts? I have a tube compressor (Effectrode LA-1A) that sounds AMAZING with my Roscoe Classic P, but not as much with the active 5 string BArt Centuries. Is it it just me - the LA-1A is a serious piece of gear - or does the tubecoloration get in the way for teh more modern Roscoes.

Liked my Compressore but lately I've been reserving that for home recording.
I'm using a Becos Stella on my 'always-on' board. Works nice with the Barts on the fretless 6 and fretted 7, as well as the fretted 5 with Aguilars.
If I were buying today, I'd probably be looking at the Twain.
I had a HyperLuminal on my wish list for a long time, but the Stella's Tape Saturation feature tipped the scales for me.
But like a lot of things, your ears, techniques, and preference will probably be different...

Hey Steve. I use the Darkglass luminal compressor. It sounds great with all my basses.

Beautiful bass!
I remember seeing pics posted on the TB Roscoe forum of that one when it was made. Can’t say that I remember seeing it recently though.

Good luck locating it!

So.....….. Could it be? A Roscoe out there that hasn't belonged to Joe? No, can't be.

Joe, been craving an omelet for the last two weeks. Keep an open lunch on your calendar as soon as things ease up a bit.

:smug:

I've been able to track down almost any past bass...but I haven't tried one from that long ago though. One wouldn't sell back to me (it was a really nice Sadowsky RV4) but had a good reason. I have been able to buy the rest back if I wanted. Ony done it a few times, and a couple times with the same bass but from different past owners. Thank god I'm done with that part of my life. Shipping is killer.

Quick question Roscoe Heads . I have a few SKBs 3005s as I have down time and want to string one E to C. . Have anyone of you done this and if so did you simply order say... a 4 back of Daddario NYXL 4 string and then order an individual C ? Or just buy a 6 string back and keep the low B sitting around encase I don’t like this experiment?
