The top on that bass is just off the charts Shane!
Did you get a new pre or a fix in it yet?
Speaking of preamps, out of nowhere My said that I got a FedEx scheduled delivery notice from Bestbassgear yesterday. I looked at it last night and it appears to be the Nordstrand preamp for my Roscoe. Looks like it’s finally on it’s way!
If anyone want’s a Bart 3-band with an active passive P/P and passive tone control let me know. I’ll probably be selling it once I satisfactorily install the Nordstrand pre. I’ll even let it go with the customized concentric knobs that I had to have modified to work with the Noll concentric pot (it won’t come with the other std black dome knobs though).

No, mine is still in NC, I actually haven’t heard anything from Keith since I shipped it to him 3 1/2 weeks ago. I did say I wasn’t in a hurry though@Fred312b - is you bass still at the shop for a re-board, or did I miss the return pics?
I had to search for @Joe BassPlayer's knobs and I was reminded that you decided to take a leap on the recarve/new board.

He didn’t specify- just said it was “a crazy involved process.”The look lik
You should be more careful of what you say!
Did Keith say that was going to mill off the old fingerboard using the Plek? That’s what he did when he installed a new Diamondwood finger board on my fretless. He left just a really thin layer of the original fingerboard so as to not disturb the trussrod cavity and glued the new board right on top of it. Really cool approach IMO.
Dibs. What do the knobs look like again? I'll start searching and scrolling...

Anyone in the club know how to date a Roscoe based on serial number? There's one for sale locally that I am interested in. Thanks in advance!
You can ask the seller if they have the origin letter or spec sheet. That are both dated. There really isn't a way to date them based on the serial number alone. If you email Keith he can give you a rough estimate of the timeframe.
It was great seeing you again, Ray. Thanks for meeting up and making the purchase of the XYZ bass that I bought from you last year. Enjoy it, my friend!Oh boy, I saw a beautiful Roscoe with a Wenge neck and fretboard today that was quite breathtaking!!
Thanks for letting me see your custom Roscoe, Gary!!
It’s GC so that definitely ain’t happening! Thank you thoughYou can ask the seller if they have the origin letter or spec sheet. That are both dated.
