Yep. 2017. Great car. Fun to drive. More practical than the Mustang I had a few years ago. An actual back seat. Yet, not great for traveling any distance with a dog.Is that the Audi A6?

Yep, but I have two kids to haul as well.I don't know anything about that auto. I haven't owned a sedan since I bought (and still have) a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo and even it had the hatchback! You know the two rows of seats fold forward in the CX-9.
And that 4-door sedan can do that better than a four door SUV? Wow! That's some car!!! It must be way bigger than it looks.I'm a graphic artist. I can Photoshop one together. Probably base it off an LG.
I appreciate all you guys and the zeal of your new builds. I guess that we all have that time in our lives where we really enjoy the new builds. I certainly had my time doing it back in the day.
Pretty content these days. Nice place to be actually.
But I do enjoy living through the new builds of everyone one in the thread.![]()
A potential single-cut design issue relates to balance and neck dive. Many dislike the "whale back" upper bouts that position the upper strap button around the 12th fret.
Check out the G&L ASAT upper bout strap position on the previous page. It's difficult to believe that neck dive is not an issue on that bass.
The Kiesels on the page before that have headless designs that likely lend themselves to be balanced in relation to upper bout strap button position.
Tom Clement and Ibanez have some designs where the upper bout height (edge of neck to top of body) is minimal while the upper bout strap position approaches the 12th fret.
When it's all said and done I prefer double cutaways. They offer the best value. You get two cutaways for the price of one. .
@Freddy-G. You really are going for a single cut Roscoe? Interesting!

But I'm hoping to get it for half price for only one cutaway.![]()
Lol
Not it works that way Gary!![]()
A neck thru is cheaper too, right? No bolts to pay for.![]()

Then, there is always the Steinberger Synapse. It features a metal upper-bout extension that changes the balance point of their minimalist single-cut body.

Hey guys, anybody have a link to purchase the OEM Roscoe D'Addarios?
Thanks!
I haven't had much luck getting responses but I will try, thanks!you can contact Keith and he sales them at a great price.
Right there with you, Joe! I've been drooling over some of the tops Keith has been posting lately. But after three custom builds, I think my time has come and gone. Sure was fun, though. And I'll still make that drive to Greensboro when my headless needs the strings changed.I appreciate all you guys and the zeal of your new builds. Yeah, it’s fun to watch some of these come together. I’d love to try a couple things but alas, it’s just not in the cards. I’m basically debt free. There are the kids. The house seems to be falling apart. New refrigerators, new lighting, and last night the dishwasher was leaking. New water softener, drinking water filtration, it goes on and on it seems right now.Right there with you, Joe! I've been drooling over some of the tops Keith has been posting lately.
