Exactly ha ha , I’ve played other 35 inch scale basses that sometimes were uncomfortable but Roscoe seemed to get the 35 done right and it does play into the really great B string. Although I must say my 34 scale LG 6 sounds just as killer

Exactly ha ha , I’ve played other 35 inch scale basses that sometimes were uncomfortable but Roscoe seemed to get the 35 done right and it does play into the really great B string. Although I must say my 34 scale LG 6 sounds just as killer
So while I’m patiently waiting for Roger (THG Knobs) to return my Roscoe control and battery access covers I’m playing a convertible Roscoe. I’ve noticed two things.
- The bass is so much lighter
- The B string doesn’t have as much sustain

Maybe Keith’s magic is imbedded in the rear access covers!

No thats just the "air" effect. You have it turned up too high. Put a half cover back on and you should be back in business

I believe that Keith makes them out of material that he harvested from aliens from a distant solar system.

I just realized that I never posted a link to the only quarantune so far where I actually played my Roscoe, so here it is. Not fabulous playing on my part, but boy does that bass record well!

Thanks! While it’s not as much fun as really getting together to play, it’s been good to spend time diving into learning my way around Logic. The software these days is pretty amazing, especially to us old geezers who cut our teeth on tape and analog outboard gear.
