Roscoe Club

I have a daughter in Matteson and she said it was like a blizzard yesterday!!

She is correct - just finished the sidewalk after going to get more gas. It's no MN/WI/ND, but it still sucks. To keep it Roscoe-related...I have a tracking number.

I just don't like headless basses at all and can't see myself ever buying one.

Ditto on the don't like, although I won't say I wouldn't ever buy one. I looked at a headless Roscoe at The Atlanta Bass Gallery. Even strapped it on and played it. It just looked weird looking down at it! It was like my left eye was covered and my right had a blinder on it and couldn't see the entire fretboard to the headstock.
The other issues I would have with owning one are: 1) It can't hang in my bass wall hangers, 2) It can't hang in my stage Hercules stands at gigs, 3) I'll have to buy extra dedicated stands for it for at home and to store in my grab-n-go gig equipment bag, which is already stuffed.

But man that bass is beautiful!!

Yeah not being able to hang from my wall and show it off would be a major no for me. I have all my basses hanging on the wall using Hercules hangers.

That is a lot of snow!!! I was stationed in Grand Forks, ND in the 70's and saw snow drifts up to second story levels. There were snow tunnels throughout the family quarters leading from the front doors to the sidewalks/streets. It got to -84 chill factor. White-outs were terrible, too!! I recall coming home after my shift and went into the freezer section and grabbed an ice tray (remember those!) for ice for my alcoholic drink and the ice tray felt warm in my hands. That cold/freezing weather is no joke!!!

Hey Joe, did you take Candy to the Mountains, too?

lol
No. I left her safe and warm in my music room!
Really ready to get acquainted now!

She’s in a stand next to me ... to tired of driving to play it right now!

Keith also texted me last night and said that Blondie should be going out in a couple days. Hopefully that’s sooner than 2 more weeks!:D
