@Nightman, my wife would put a tracking device on me, so she could freeze me in the ice, move me to GA or FL, and thaw me out in a new home!

Actually, my tracking number is for a new-to-me Roscoe incoming, to replace my recently sold Century Standard fretless. A 5 for a 6, Standard for Signature, Ash for Mahogany, etc., etc. I'll post pics hopefully this weekend.

You are not happy!!! Admitting and identifying your source of pain is the first step!!! The second step is buying that new-to-you bass!!! Go with the force, not against it! Find your peace (bass) and buy it!! The universe is with you! :)

I think I did, yes. The Redwood, birdseye diamondwood signature 6! I'm so excited.

I paid a premium for it, so out go at least 2 basses and some accessories (Century Standard 5 fretless and a modded Roadworn J bass). Although I am attempting to self-fund the purchase, I do have clearance to use some session $ for it.

I hope that one day I can point y'all to this fretless track I'm doing this weekend. Under non-disclosure right now. :ninja:

@SteveC, several Janet Jackson lyrics come to mind...that's the way love goes, what have you done for me lately, escapade, rhythm nation...

@Nightman - you have a tracking number, too? Do inform!

I’m happy with what I have too. But I have this voice in my head telling me I’d be even happier if I had what you have as well as what I have. Not healthy. I’d be a much better player if I just focused on playing what I have instead of trying to constantly get more.

With that in mind I spent my free time today practicing my six instead of browsing the classifieds. Much more productive.

Now if I could just find someone who wants a 7 string Roscoe. :)

So true. I sometimes admittedly get stuck in a 'retooling' phase and forget to maintain/improve my actual craft. I firmly believe in having the right tool for the job, but then you gotta eventually get the actual job done. 'Job' can vary per person (and per pandemic season), though.

You bought two basses from me, too, and I’m just waiting on the funds to post. :thumbsup: :D

My tracking number was suppose to come from a non-Roscoe source.

Guess who forgot that a 35 inch scale requires a step down in string tension? Yup. This guy. I’ve been playing the Koa Century I got from Greg and he has DR Sunbeam lights on it. 40-120. It feels and plays perfect. I put DR Pure Blues on my Century 6 and they are 45-125 and they are very tight to me. I completely forgot that I need light gauge strings on 35 inch scaled Basses and I have a boat list of mediums from my Stingray 5 phase last year. LOL. Oh well live and learn... and forget and then learn again.

Plastic concentric knob replaced with metal. The conversion to my PJ bass is now complete.:)
