Oh that colour looks great. Very classy IMO.
I'm wondering how that would look with silver hardware.
Here is a Faded Bluejean Custom SKB I got from Pacman many moons ago. Add this one to the "what was I thinking" catch and release program I'm on.

If you were ordering a new custom Lg or Skb with an exhibition quilt top & BEM board, which transparent colour would you choose? No natural allowed
to your point about individuality with necks mine has the widest stringer of Purple Heart I've ever seen on a Roscoe
Blue is great but so is cardavan red. Maple board against the dark blue or red looks sharp.

Complete honesty... my original intention was to commission a copy of your LG6, but 35" and the original LG pickup slant. Everything looks perfect to me on your bass, the fretboard is unreal! It's still #1 in the running, even though all the finishes suggested are crazy nice.
New commission for LG6? Nice. Like you, I prefer the slanted Roscoe Bart arrangement more than straight/parallel with the bridge. However, if I were to commission a new LG, I would specify a "reverse slant," like this one.
It's the Jimmy Haslip configuration, positioned just a little closer to the bridge than Jimmy's bass.

I too have been on the Fence with Keith for weeks about building a new Six. I've been vacillating between an LG and a Century. My heart wants the LG but there are still so many other options I can't decide on.
I too would go for the reverse slanted Haslip pickup position.
I believe Jimmy's bass has a mahogany body. Does anyone know if that is true?
Yes. His has a mahogany body.
I'd also go for the reverse slant too, if I hadn't owned the LG6 I did with the original, bass side towards the neck slant. It's one of the greatest sounding basses I've ever played, so I'm not wanting to mess with anything there. Also I'm stupid, stupid, stupid for ever letting that one go!

They're so funky looking, especially in the 6 string configuration.But I'm not bothered by neck dive, I can see the Century doing a lot better in that department.
Well, I got the Classic P boxed up to send off for the spa treatment. It's my only Roscoe that hasn't yet so what the hell.
It should be a quick trip. Since yours is fairly recent it shouldn't need the neck pocket scribed. Plus if it does, the pin router is up and running now.
I hope it has a safe trip there and back.
