Roscoe Club

+1 for the single coils in a Roscoe! We should start our own sub-club! :)

I've got a set of Nordy NJ5F singles in my Koa Roscoe, and it slays. I'm itching to put a set of the new Aguilar Super Singles in my fretless Roscoe that currently has the Rscoe Barts, but I first have to convince the guys at Aguilar to do the 6-string shell size and 5-string spacing. I'll be dropping some serious hints in NYC at the upcoming Jimmy Haslip clinic. :)

Not an Iphone issue...
When you're posting attachments, you get thumbnails.
Click on one of those, you get the big one.

You want to post a 'real' image, you need to upload the file to somewhere with an HTTP address and then paste the link into the IMG tags.

Works the same with desktops too.

This is a friend of mine, his Roscoe is sweet.

Solid 1 piece Maple Body
Spalted/Sapwood Purpleheart Fingerboard
Maple/Purpleheart/Mape Wedge Neck
Bart Classic Pickups
Aguilar 3 band preamp

By far my favorite Roscoe Ever! I want that bass so bad I have thought about clubbing him over the head and taking it, but alas he is my friend. :D

Yes and I do not know yet. I have only had the Century for less than 24 hours. But I honestly think I prefer the way the SKB hangs on me but what I really want to try is an LG. Never held or played one. But I have what could be called a "roundish" figure so things might not hang the way they should on more "traditionally" shaped bass players.

Cool. I have an LG and that's the only shape I'll own. The skb and century were fine but I prefer the LG. I'm jealous of yor collection. Beautiful.

I'd love to see a full front pic of that bass. It does sound like a winning recipe and if you say it sounds killer I have no doubt it does :bassist:

I went with the century myself. I must say the only Thing I'm nervous about is going from a mahogony body to swamp ash. Swamp ash is much brighter than I'm used to and I'm worried I won't get that fat full warm sound that I've always loved. I just really think a mahogany body with cocobolo top and a wenge fingerboard would have been too dull with no growl.
