Roscoe pictures (from Roscoe Forum)

hmm, will Sunbeams fit? They work on my Lull. Doesn't seem like this is any longer than that.

DR's "Standard" length will fit Roscoes, so the short answer is yes Sunbeams will fit.;)

I've talked with Greg about strings a time or two and he said he has to special order slightly longer SIT's.

Just trying to save you some coin, so you didn't drop the $ on the SIT's only to realize the "standard" set doesn't fit.;)

:D

There was this one. Bass had a really nice deep bottom, and the Demeter really helped open the high end.

- Ash
- Zebrawood with Sapwood Center
- Maple / PH / Wenge / PH / Maple Neck
- Pau Ferro Board
- Roscoe Barts wired Parallel
- Demeter Preamp

Then the most drool worthy of them all, which Crash now owns. I'm biased, but I still think this is the nicest bass Roscoe ever put in a case.

- Ash
- Spalted Maple Top
- Wenge Wedge Neck
- Wenge Board
- Nordstrand DC's
- Demeter Preamps

I'm not a Spanish Cedar fan, so this was a crapshoot. I couldn't pass it up for the price I paid. Looked great! I think with the right electronic combo, it could have sounded great too. Tone is an IMO thing.. Whoever has it now likes it I'm sure..

- Spanish Cedar
- Boxelder Burl
- Wenge Wedge
- African Tulipwood
- Nordstrand DC's
- Aguilar Preamp

Joe's not the only one who has owned 6..............:atoz:

6? I'm actually on number 16. I had to try all the wood and electronics combos and of course I am a slow learner!:D

....I had to try a couple combos twice!

Don't expect that to continue though. Number 14 & 16 will most likely be around for quiet a while. Although a number 17 fretless (5 or 6 ) will most certainly be on the GAS list in the future.

One thing is certain in life:

As long as Keith keeps building basses, Roscoeheads will keep buying them!

I'm hooked with one:eek:. Don't know what I'd do having owned 16...:help:

Ever see a really fat guy at the buffet trying to decide what to get? We act as though we're only gettin' one shot at it, only to eat six plates of food.

Well that'd be me with Roscoes. OOH I like that one, no I like that one, man there's another one....

Keith should patent his formula for GAS induction. It's potent. :smug:

:D

Heck yeah you can play! :bassist:
It really doesn't matter whether you've owned 20 or 1 ......

Great looking Roscoe and excellent pic's too!

I'm almost tempted to send mine to you just you can photograph 'em!

......then again ...... maybe not. Next time that you're through GA make sure that you bring your camera! ;)
