Such a shame Rush won't visit this neck of the woods... I'd pay two strings off my bass and vow to go back to four strings if it meant I'd get to see them live. :D

This coming from me after hearing Headlong Flight for the first time today - that's one insanely intricate bassline.
 
Wow, you parents ARE cool! I'm sure you will enjoy. I hope they are still touring when my 5 year old is old enough to go to a concert so I can take her (and she wouldn't rather go to a teeny-bopper pop concert like Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus). The first time I saw them in '84, I was so far away, they looked a little bigger than the tip of a match. :D

I just wouldn't count on any 5 year old girl to ever develop an interest in attending a Rush concert. I have one too. I guess it could happen, but it's not a goal for me. Unless she wants to go for my benefit.
