RUSH Clockwork Angels

That's what it seems like and it is a Tuesday, but I just don't get the whole pre-sale thing then. Aren't the people who buy it like this supposed to get it earlier than the general public? If it ships on the 12th and is released that day, I'm going to have it in my hands before people who ordered it through the pre-sale.

+1. My least favorite thing about Rush. "Freewill" was poetically written enough to be tolerable. "Faithless" is just over the top. It falls into that category of "waving my personal beliefs in front of you a little too much".

Not uber excited about Neil's occasional faith bashing (which is not new, but still a little annoying), but the rest of the album is going to be freaking epic. :D

Im not at all a fan of faith bashing period, especially from my favorite band ever. But I've heard it start to finish and I'm REALLY digging it, even from a basic musician's standpoint.

+1. For me, as a Christian, it's kind of saddening to hear one of the best lyricists and drummers of all time to have such problems with God. but yeah, I've heard some leaks of the songs on Youtube and I'm really digging it a ton too! :D
I think It's going to be a great album, despite the occasional rants. I sense a Rush classic in the making. Plus, I look forward to the novel, reader that I am.

I agree. No one can judge him (nor should they) for his differing outlook on life.
And most of the time, I don't think he intends to bash everyone who have faith anyway (as can be gathered from "Armor and Sword" and "Bravest Face" from Snakes and Arrows), but it just comes across that way sometimes, and as much of a huge fan of Rush as I am, it's a little sad to hear that. But at the end of the day, I have to admire the guy's ability with the pen, and sticks, and he's still one of my favorite writers and musicians of all time.
