So! This guy is telling Bbender and kmrumedy that I'm a punk and he's not going to pay me back. At the same time he's telling me " check is on the way". Anybody wanna say there's two sides to this story? How about its a he said she said. Wanna call me ignorant? I have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that this guy is a thieving coward who lies to whoever he can.

I don't think you should post it. It's just bad form and it doesn't help anything if you're trying to come to an agreement.
Just trying to prove my case and to prove that he is the liar and not me. He says one thing to me and another thing to everyone else. Nothing wrong with me sharing my email. If it was between him and someone else that would be wrong but I'm sharing my email. It's hands down proof that the guy is not telling the truth.
He is ripping me off and telling other people he's not paying me back and at the same time telling me checks on the way. As soon as my documents come in from the bank I'm calling the police on him.

Yeah but he said he would let us know when he gets the money and then trolled back for additional comments. I hope he gets his money, but geez, if you're going to call the cops or whoever, then you do it and stop crying wolf. All these other guys are emailing Rybski and posting their findings, just to get Chauncey all worked up so that would be problem #2.
ive been watching this thread for a while .... I can't FKN stand a Thief!! Man we work sooooo hard for our money ! And for some low life to STEAL SOMEONES MONEY is brutal ! I don't need anyone telling me there's 2 sides to every story in this thread.... ONE STORY HERE.... Guy forked over his hard earned money and the dude spent it and I'm afraid he'll never see his money again..... Guys a low life thief and anyone that says different should consider how THEY would feel and to WHAT EXTENTS they would go through to reach out for answers or suggestions .... I don't even know the guy or the builder but I feel like sending him an email myself ! Pisses me off to no end when I hear of thieves ... Sorry my rants over lol
Yeah, its a crappy situation. My only point in the matter is that the ongoing comments about the guy should at least stop for now until there has been a satisfied verdict. We never actually did get a full disclosure from the other party, even though the claims are quite obvious to understand.
I think the best situation is for a mod to temporarily close the thread until Chauncey reports back via private message and that would put a temp stop to unnecessary updates. Although both parties have talked their trash so its not like a court would be sufficient at this point.
There is no reason this thread should be buried until there is a resolution...in fact it really should stay on top until Rybski either makes good on his promise to send a check or makes his own case here as to why he is justified in withholding the refund. The guy is trying to play both sides and deserves to have this situation exposed.
I don't mind if somebody wants to say something, then say it. It's cool with me. However, you don't tell me when to shut up. May this thread live forever, or at least until the guy pays me back.
