S/D-85: Tasty clippings from Corey's Box

I'm always bored at from 11-3am, is it shady to wander around town then? I get restless before I go to bed.

I used to do the same thing when I was single. Usually worked till 4:30, band practice 5-9, from then till like 2 I never knew what to do with myself.
Used to go to the beach a lot and smoke on the shore and listen for shark attacks. You could always tell there was a big predator about when the fish are all trying to get out of the water at once.

Now I'm old and married I usually have problems staying awake after I put the 2 year old to bed.

@Corey, prior to your demo clips my Dunwich gas was contained to the VT. Now I think I have to have all his dirt. It's killing me I blew my wad on a used pedal a week before preorders opened up.

Land locked severely otherwise that's what I'd be doing for sure.

I go to two classes in school and two online, and I flip gear and things as my job. So I have a lot of down time. So I have people over a lot, or I'm wandering around on foot meeting random people. But no ones a night owl so far consistently sadly.

Hey dudes! I may be lurking this neck of the woods for a while. I don't play stoner/doom per se, but I do play aggressive post-hardcore with a pretty heavy sludge influence. Also, I feel like you guys probably have the best taste in fuzz, heh. Anyways, I don't have much to add beyond that. I did get to play a Dirge SSStampede today and it brought the doom fo sho. I'm now looking in to getting one myself, possibly with a starve and/or feedback loop added in. Anyways, hey.

I posted a couple of the requested extras for the Dunwich tourbox demos. Low gain clips for the ODB and Volt Thrower and ampegfuzz's request for an active jazz with a particular setting.

Hey there. Don't worry, we have a lot of crossover with the whole post-metal post-rock thing. We won't shun you ;)

Hot damn these guys are coming along nicely.

Really digging this... makes me nostalgic for Diablo II for some reason.

NAD!
Just picked this up from CL for $150 total. ACC 370 & 301 cab. The cab is in ruff shape and it's too big for my truck cover ship I'll probably sell it to GC for whatever. (I have to bring these back to Colorado from GA.) I was really only worried about the head anyway. Head is in great shape with only a few dings but no tears. Works fine. ****ing stoked.
The guys buys storage units and this was in one.

(Thanks Samsquanch1972. ;) )

Daaayum nice score dude, good deal

I used to like to wander around late at night, quit doing that when I moved to Albuquerque - not the best idea in that city - started up again a little after I moved back to Wisconsin.

My wife doesn't like it when I do it now, a bunch of teenagers were jumping and robbing people two years ago so she gets worried.

if you dont mind me asking, what caused such a long stay at the NICU?

and prepare to not sleep for 2 months.

The kid has a heart condition called SVT (Yeah I know)...and contrary to what most of TB would think, it's not an issue with his back.

Supraventricular Tachycardia, basically he has an extra electrical pathway in his heart that cuases it to beat twice as fast as it should. It just took a long time to find the right medication and dose for him. Turns out he has a rare form of SVT (skunkworks??) so the meds are not going to eliminate it completely but it's low enough that it is not dangerous.

He'll be in an out of hospitals for a while, most kids out grow it but because this is the more rare kind his chances of outgrowing are lower. There are surgical options if needed once he reaches 5 or 6 years old.

I'm just glad to hear he's coming home. Sounds like the drs got a handle on it so I'm guessing there really shouldn't be much added worry then average baby stuff. Oh the joys of infancy. Wife's pregnant right now so I'll be reliving it soon enough.

Start calling your baby Skunkworks around the house. I bet your wife will be thrilled :P
well she doesn't appreciate me calling him "BigNews", although she finds it amusing, i doubt Skunworks would go over well though. :)

Not so fast, he's been in SVT mode for over an hour...back to the hospital we go...In all fairness they told us to expect this kind of stuff. as he gains weight the medication loses its effectiveness. he likely just needs a bigger dose.
