Some of us work for a living.
Every job I've had since high school I've operated heavy machinery.
I used a diesel powered power washer at a side job in middle school, that's about as heavy a machine I've dealt with.

I think I might get one of those behringer sansamp clones. Don't really need one, but I can get one stupid cheap here at work.
Otherwise - busy tuesday. Cold and snowy outside. Woohoo.
Well after a quick search no dice on an easy to come by affordable Short scale j bass.
The blacked out short scale squier jag might be my best option at less than $200 new. I'd just need to cut a new pickguard to plop a new set of J's in it instead of PJ.
On the same tone search, I was looking at the iron ether xerograph, but it's quite pricey, just to be turning it down for that dubby low, is there anything else than can get me that sound? Should I get another mole? DOD Meat box?
How quick? You check Rondo?
Edit: yeah, headstocks suck
BDI21? I recommend

I'm in that boat right now. I've worked as a DJ in strip clubs for the past 24 years. No testing required. Actually I could usually score what I wanted while working.Just had a weird discussion with my wife. Apparently she has never had to pass a drug test for work. Ever.
She doesn't smoke.
Every real job I've ever had did at least initial if not random.
Anybody else have a gracious work policy and NOT take advantage of it?
Lol I have their $70 18" sub in my cart right now. I thought you were hatin on em a bit last time I mentioned them? The 15" MCM woofers I put in my 2x15 sounded really good the last 2 practices, they're dedicated woofers but have a pretty sweet breakup with some power behind em. I dont think they'd do hi-fi crisp bass very well, but for downtuned heavy blues and sludge they kick ass.
I got another Sunn 2x15 that turns out to be a guitar cab rather than bass... if I can get the speakers working I'll run my Butcher through it and run a real bi-amp setup. Otherwise its getting 2 more MCMs and I'll run a 4x15 out of the Acoustic... I'd be happy either way!
The 18" is to fill the Peavey cab I blew to shreds, I dont necessarily need it right now but I hate having cabs lying around that don't work, it'd be worth more to put in a cheap speaker and sell than to sell an empty cab. But a crossed over 18" cab is a funky tool and I'd probably keep it in my basement even if I didnt have an immediate use.
Waiting on new Slomatics and Conan here, and seeing both in the next few months![]()
I caught the show in Austin. The Sword opened for my crappy-going-nowhere band about 10 years ago and I thought it was pretty good but nothing special...damn they've upped their game. Amazing set. I really dig their newer-less-straight-70s stuff, very ripping.
...and Big Business just flat our rules, wish they were the headliner. But the Sword still dominated.
I love those old bands. Check out Stark Naked on youtube.
Lay down another hundred and get you a Foxroc Octron, my favorite pedal.
Ok guys, it's been a long time since I posted here but I'm back with a treat.
Here's the second and last music video of my band "Blister.". Recorded on a boat in Brussels.
Matamp and Gibson p0rn inside !

Be sure to watch it loud and in HD !
Most jobs don't test, and those that do it's usually initially, and only if your suspect after (ware house accident).
Not much point in testing in most white color jobs.
I've been working white collar jobs since finishing engineering school in 2000. Every "real" job I've had, any job I might be qualified for, needs clean pee. Seems to me, If I were a high-level manager paranoid about my best engineers bailing the company, every month I'd rent a limo, invite them out on the town, cruise the strip clubs, and smoke 'em WAY the hell out. Keep their pee tainted and they could never leave to work for the competition
Wished I would a found these guys a few hours ago when it was still Taco Tuesday... Was not expecting such awesomeness out of their name. Plus girl drummers are hot.
