I'm in that boat right now. I've worked as a DJ in strip clubs for the past 24 years. No testing required. Actually I could usually score what I wanted while working.

Been thinking about bailing because I'm tired of working every night but Sunday. Missing every concert and not having time to be serious about a band. Plus I'm a single dad and my daughter is 4, starting school in a year and I wan't to work while she is in school and be home with her at night.

Unfortunately my resume is extremely strip club oriented so I'm still spinning at the shaker. In fact I'm doing it as I post this. Boobies all around me.

But I've been completely clean since December 16th 2013. I should be good to go on a test soon if not already. All I really did was smoke weed daily.

The 18" is to fill the Peavey cab I blew to shreds, I dont necessarily need it right now but I hate having cabs lying around that don't work, it'd be worth more to put in a cheap speaker and sell than to sell an empty cab. But a crossed over 18" cab is a funky tool and I'd probably keep it in my basement even if I didnt have an immediate use.

I'm not hatin, just saying you get what you pay. My new 215 with EVMs, those speakers would walk any MCM option.



I'm in the process of getting a job with VW, start as a lube tech and work my way to full technician. I start training next week, we've dome paper work already and not even a mention of drug testing in paper or general. I wouldve put money on them testing me but hen again VW seems like a pretty progressive forward thinking company.

Man karma luck, needed suits and my friend took me over and had like 12 on a rack and said take what you want man. So I took a couple to try on first and damn if they aren't great and they'll be spot on if I drop a pound or two I reckon. Easy peasy and absolutely freesies.

Learned suit jargon before I went so I got all dark ones with thin dark pin stripes or solid, two with side vents, one with none, and all with three buttons. These all accent my height and relative slimness apparently. Trying them on to house of cards, it's quite... Fitting

I've been working white collar jobs since finishing engineering school in 2000. Every "real" job I've had, any job I might be qualified for, needs clean pee. Seems to me, If I were a high-level manager paranoid about my best engineers bailing the company, every month I'd rent a limo, invite them out on the town, cruise the strip clubs, and smoke 'em WAY the hell out. Keep their pee tainted and they could never leave to work for the competition…

Sounds like an idea you should bring up, get yourself that high level gig.
